Leonie Roessler – Born in the Ruhr District (Ruhrgebiet) in Germany, Leonie relocated to Los Angeles as a teenager. She studied classical guitar at Los Angeles City College, and received a Bachelor Degree in Composition along with a Minor in Dance Performance at California State University Northridge in 2010. She moved to the Netherlands and earned her Master Degree in Composition at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in 2013, while also studying Carnatic Music at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. She completed a one-year course at the Institute of Sonology thereafter. She is active as a performer and composer in various countries and places nearby, but essentially lives with her four-year-old son in the center of The Hague.
Veronique van der Meijden (1992), mezzo-soprano, is slowly establishing herself as a voice for neglected art song repertoire from eastern Europe, including music from Caucasian, Anatolic and Balkan countries. Having finished her Bachelor studies in The Hague, The Netherlands with Andrew Schroeder, Veronique has participated in masterclasses with Claron McFadden (free contemporary improvisation), Rita Dams (on songs by Jake Heggie) and Marcel Reijans (on romantic art song). Masterclasses on stage presentation and acting skills Veronique followed with Sébastien Dutrieux and Philip Curtis.

Reflection is a piece for some tradition instruments which are used to project the music along with speakers. Their sounds are also the source material for the piece. In fact They are reflecting their own sound in another dimension. Each of these instruments that I have collected over years has lived their own lives and now they come together to share their stories through their vibration.
Siamak Anvari is a composer and sound artist was born in Tehran, Iran in 1981. He studied composition at the Art University of Tehran. He has composed many instrumental pieces for different ensembles and orchestra. After being interested in electroacoustic music, he moved to the Netherlands to study at the Institute of Sonology at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. After awarding the best entrance examination scholarship, He entered the Master’s program in Sonology at the same school and accomplished his studies under supervision of Richard Barrett and achieved his diploma with distinction. His music has been performed in Iran, Netherlands, Spain and Germany. He is currently research associate at the Institute of Sonology.

During the performance the two musicians creates small blocks of rhythmical patterns that becomes a large and rich ambient surrounding. This new surrounding could also be seen as a huge instrument or a network that the musicians start to improvise on it. The piece is inspired from the sounds and ideas of David Tudor.
Amir Bolzman – Musician and Sound artist. Born in Brazil, 1985. Graduated with honors at The Naggar School in Musrara, Jerusalem, July, 2010. Founder and member of the Jerusalem music/video label “no coast productions”. Released and produced albums for : Amy McKnight , Subjunk and Daniel Slabosky . The last three years focusing his energy on free improvise of electronic music .
Mei-Yi Lee – Born in Taipei in 1982. Percussionist and Performer based in the Netherlands. After achieved her bachelor degree at the National Taiwan University of Arts, she moves to The Netherlands to continue her postgraduate studies at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague under the supervision of Fedor Tunisse, Luuk Nagtegaal, Hans Zonderop. In 2013 she concluded the “Konzertexamen” degree under the guidance Marta Klimasara at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart, Germany, with the support of the Fonds Podiumkunsten and Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds from The Netherlands.
She is highly interested in experimental music, interdisciplinary, collaboration with different field of arts such as dance, theatre, visual and performance. Presently she is a member of SonoLab, Paper Ensemble and iOFloat (Taiwan) , and she has been one of the guest performers for different ensembles such as Slagwerk Den Haag, Asko|Schoenberg Ensemble, Insomnio Ensemble, NJO, the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra and collaborated with theater groups including Veenfabriek, De Nieuw Amsterdam, Diamantfabriek, Het Zuidelijk Toneel; as active performer, she has worked with Steven Schick, Henry Vega, Peter van Bergen, Ilya Ziblat Shay, director Elsa May Averill, choreographer Andreas Denk and performed in important concert halls and festivals from Europe and Asia such as Tokyo Wonder Site, Gaudeamus, Donaueschingen Festival, Incubate Festival, Holland Festival and November Music.
