The hackLab of Studio LOOS is a neighborhood hub where musicians, artists and anyone can work on projects that include electronics, sensors, micro-controllers, code etc. We offer a comfortable space with basic tools and support by an expert team. Even a very basic knowledge of the technology that a hackLab typically focuses on, is sufficient for participating; the idea of the hackLab community is learning by doing. The hackLab spring series takes place on five Saturday afternoons.

Crab Music Summer Series - “Sounds of The Hague”

Wat is Krab:
Krab is een muziek en techniek workshop waarin je leert om elektrischemuziek te improviseren, componeren en te spelen door het ontdekken van de vele geluidsmogelijkheden van je nieuw ontworpen, zelfgebouwde elektronische instrument.
Wat is de Zomerserie, “Sounds of the Hague”:
De zomerserie is een nieuwe workshopserie met spiksplinternieuwe, unieke, en bijzondere elektronische instrumenten. Je ontdekt hoe je je zelfgemaakte geluiden verbinden met de omgeving van Den Haag. Er zijn twee workshops, aan het einde
van de workshops geeft je een concert voor vrienden en familie.
Aan het einde krijg je een starter-kit om thuis te nemen.

23 juli – 10:00-13:00
24 juli – 10:00-13:00 en concert 13:00-13:30
Praktische info:
€40 voor kinderen tussen 7 en 12 jaar.
Deelnemers moeten voor allebei workshops aanwezig zijn.
Maximaal 10 kinderen kunnen deelnemen.

What is Crab:
Crab is a music workshop where you learn how to compose and improvise through discovering many sound possibilities of your newly designed, self-built electronic instrument.
What is the summer series “Sounds of the Hague”:
The summer series is a brand new set of workshops with new, unique, and never heard before, electronic instruments.
You will discover how your sounds fit in and connect with the environment of the Hague. The workshops take place over two days. After the series you will present a concert for your family and friends feature your new musical creations.
You will receive a Crab starter-kit to take home.
Dates:
23 July – 10:00-13:00
24 July – 10:00-13:00 and concert 13:00-13:30
Practical Information:
€40 participation fee for ages 7-12.
Participants should attend both workshops.
Space is limited to 10 participants!
